This lot on Leelanau’s gorgeous Crystal River presented both opportunities (great views!) and challenges (building envelope). CMB designed a solution for positioning the home to accommodate both functional and aesthetic needs. Inside, they achieved the same balance with clients leading the interior design effort and CMB helping them find materials and methods to build within budget. The home has a timeless yet relaxed feel with special touches like sandblasted cedar vanities and a custom see-through fireplace that warms both the living room and the master bedroom.
